Macro Shield is specially formulated and produced in Germany. It is a biodegradable, non-toxic, nano-technology sealer from Macro Stone that has been laboratory tested in Sydney, NSW and has been scientifically proven to protect Natural Stone and concrete from Salt Attack under the harshest conditions.

We recommend that You seal your beautiful Macro Stone pavers or tiles with Macro Shield to make sure that they last the long term.

In order to maintain a warranty on your stone you MUST seal your stone with Macro Shield a minimum of every 4 years.

We're not saying that other sealers don't work, its just that we KNOW that this one does!

We don't want you to take any risks and we wont take any risks either by suggesting products that may not do the job.

This gives you, and us, the peace of mind that your beautiful new stone, which you have invested a lot of money into is going to last the distance.

Handy Hints, Terms and Conditions

DID YOU KNOW MACRO SHIELD IS:
 
  1. A Biodegradable Non Toxic Sealer
  2. A cutting edge, European Nano-Technology – Designed, Formulated and Made in Germany
  3.  Made up from a water and oil base
  4.  An Odorless Sealer and therefore can even be used inside
  5.  A Laboratory tested Sealer that is designed to protect your stone against salt, UV, weathering and most forms and liquid.

HINTS AND TIPS
 
  • Preferred application method: We recommend using a spray pack for a greater economic coverage and a more even finish, as it penetrate quiet quickly.
  •  Coverage Ratio per liter for granite is 20 sq., Macro base brown black 20 sq. meters, Dusk Drifting and ivory at 15 sq. meters and Desert Sand at 10 sq. meters.
  •  To test whether your stone is COMPLETELY DRY before Sealing, get a piece of 'Glad Wrap' 0.5 x0.5 meters and tape down all sides over stone. Leave for half an hour and if there is any moisture on the glad wrap, then the stone IS NOT READY TO BE SEALED. If there is no moisture, you are right to go!
  •  If its a high traffic area or you want some gloss then you can apply another coat, it will only enhance the protection. This will effect your coverage rates as coverage rates are based on 1 coat only

FOR ALL Macro Stone Pavers & Tiles, we ONLY recommend MACRO SHIELD be used

 

 FOR CLEANING of Macro Stone Pavers & Tiles, we ONLY recommend MACRO FOAM. Its not to say other products don't work however we wont take any responsibility if you choose to use another product and it damages the stone in any way.

 If you chose not to seal your Macro Stone at all, we do not hold any responsibility and your warranty will not be viable.
 
 NEVER seal Macro Stone in damp weather as the stone must be completely dry for sealer to adhere and therefore effectively protect the way it is designed to.
 
 We recommend that NO acid or any other cleaning products are used on the stone.
 
If you decide to use a different sealer at ANY time apart from Macro Shield on Macro Stone.
 
We are not liable to offer any professional advice regarding that product.

Consumers need to be aware that in order to maintain the guarantee that we offer on our stone:

 
Macro Shield MUST be re-applied EVERY 4 years with a minimum of one coat.
 
 We advise you Grout BEFORE Sealing! …otherwise “…………………   “ – We will not take any responsibility for any problems caused for sealing prior to grouting.

 When cleaning the stone with Macro Foam, we recommend that you leave a weeks grace period before sealing with Macro Shield to ensure stone is completely dry. (see hints & tips for testing) The sealant will not adhere if there is any kind of moisture through the stone.
